Square Enix will celebrate the 25th anniversary of Final Fantasy VII with a video presentation on June 16, at 23:59. It reports the developer via Twitter.
Exactly what we will see is not entirely clear, but after all the hints Square has released in recent weeks, it seems likely that we will get to know something about the next chapter in the Final Fantasy VII Remake saga.

In a follow-up Tweet Game Manager Tetsuya Nomura points out that the broadcast should only last for 10 minutes. However, he promises a lot of information, and asks fans to look forward to the “unveiling”.
– We will send a celebration of Final Fantasy VII’s 25th anniversary. It only lasts for about 10 minutes, so it will be short and sweet, but we have packed a lot of information so I hope everyone can look forward to the unveiling, Nomura wrote.
The first part of the Final Fantasy VII Remake was launched in April 2020, to a generally good reception. Square has been very quiet about the sequel, but now the time may finally be right.
