According to a “TechCrunch” report on October 18, following the announcement earlier this year that it would launch artificial intelligence capabilities to promote the development of the retail industry, financial services platform Square announced the launch of ten new AI-generated capabilities, mainly focusing on customer content creation, onboarding and settings.
The platform promised in a press release that one of its new artificial intelligence features, the Menu Generator, will allow restaurants to create a “complete menu” on Square in “just minutes.”
Square emphasized that this process relies on a series of third-party generative artificial intelligence models, including OpenAI’s GPT-3, GPT-3.5 and GPT-4, and is not fully automated.
