British game media Eurogamer reported on the 21st (local time) that Square Enix revealed information about the new expansion pack for Final Fantasy 14 at the Final Fantasy Pen Fest held in London.
According to foreign media, Square Enix unveiled the new job ‘Viper’ for Final Fantasy 14’s new expansion pack ‘Golden Legacy’ at this Pen Fest. Viper is a melee damage dealer who uses dual swords.
Viper fights with quick cuts, pressuring the enemy, and then can unleash his power with combined weapons. It is also known that he can recall the memories of ancient hunters by imbuing his body with additional strength for temporary abilities.

Final Fantasy 14 director and main producer Naoki Yoshida even appeared on site in Viper cosplay.
Square Enix plans to soon share information about the second new job, long-distance magic dealer. Foreign media reported that detailed information will be revealed at the Doko Fan Fest scheduled for July next year.
