Square Enix removed protection Denuvo in the computer version Star Ocean: The Divine Force. The role-playing game was released in October 2022 and has not yet been hacked by pirates. Probably the Japanese publisher decided not to pay more for using Denuvo, or felt that anti-piracy protection was bad for performance.
It is worth noting that over the past months, Square Enix has stripped Denuvo of its strategy The Diofield Chronicle and action Valkyrie Elysiumand in early April, the Japanese removed protection from Triangle Strategy.
