Spy Shots of Mitsubishi XFC Testing on Trans Java Toll Road Ahead of GIIAS 2023 Exhibition

Mitsubishi XFC Spotted Testing on Trans Java Toll Road

Jakarta – The highly anticipated Mitsubishi XFC was caught on camera crossing the Trans Java Toll Road on Saturday (24/6). The SUV type vehicle was undergoing road tests ahead of its launch at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show or GIIAS 2023 exhibition.

As is customary with road tests, the Mitsubishi XFC was covered in camouflage stickers to obscure its identity. However, upon closer inspection, the vehicle’s appearance is not much different from the XFC concept that the manufacturer has previously exhibited. The new car, which is predicted to be a strong competitor to the Honda HR-V, features a dynamic shield design with a firm honeycomb grille. The headlamp pattern is also identical to the concept or prototype version.

The most striking feature of the vehicle is the additional lighting in the bumper area. Unfortunately, these components are not very visible in the spy shots due to the camouflage stickers. Nevertheless, the XFC tested on the road is almost identical to the XFC concept, with the rim design and body curves remaining unchanged. It is possible that the production version will only receive additional details in certain parts.

Before being caught on camera on the Trans Java Toll Road, the Mitsubishi XFC underwent initial road testing in Vietnam, also covered in camouflage stickers to conceal its identity.

Excitingly, consumers can now pre-order the Mitsubishi XFC ahead of its official launch at GIIAS 2023. By depositing an initial booking fee of IDR 5 million, interested buyers can secure their unit. Mitsubishi Indonesia’s Director of Sales and Marketing Division, Irwan Kuncoro, confirmed that consumers who pre-order will receive their Mitsubishi XFC units more quickly and will also enjoy several benefits, including a smart package.

Although details about the frame and engine of the Mitsubishi XFC have not been disclosed, it is expected to feature a completely new design. The official name of the product is still tightly guarded by the manufacturer.

Mitsubishi XFC Seen Testing on Trans Java Toll Road

The highly anticipated Mitsubishi XFC was recently spotted undergoing road tests on the Trans Java Toll Road. The SUV-type vehicle, which is set to be unveiled at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) in 2023, was covered in camouflage stickers to keep its identity hidden.

Despite the disguise, it’s clear that the Mitsubishi XFC closely resembles the concept model that was previously showcased by the manufacturer. The vehicle features a dynamic shield design with a sturdy honeycomb grille, and the headlamp pattern remains true to the original concept.

One notable feature of the XFC is the additional lighting in the bumper area, although it is difficult to see in the spy shots due to the camouflage stickers. However, overall, the XFC tested on the road is very similar to the concept, with minimal changes to the rim design and body curves. It is likely that the production version will only receive minor updates in certain areas.

Prior to the Trans Java Toll Road sighting, the Mitsubishi XFC was spotted undergoing initial road tests in Vietnam, also disguised with camouflage stickers.
