Well, Tottenham Hotspur’s game against Leicester City looks relatively promising.
Tottenham’s last two games in all competitions were postponed following a worrisome coronavirus crisis in North London.
The Spurs closed their Hotspur Way training facility last week after a series of outbreaks, with large numbers of senior players, and technical personnel, testing positive for covid.
As a result, Lilywhites’ Premier League exit with Leicester this week was in doubt.
But the Evening Standard reported Tuesday that the outlook was significantly more positive, so to speak, after Tottenham reopened first-team apartments on Hotspur Way.

For the past three days, manager Antonio Conte has been training with a ‘skeleton squad’, or a small number of players, in hopes of fielding a starting eleven at King Power Stadium this week.
Here’s how Tottenham fans reacted to this development on Twitter:

Important
It is very important that the Italian coach recovers his players as soon as possible.
Even before this outbreak, Tottenham had played one game less than 18 other Premier League teams when their visit to Burnley was postponed due to snow.
Ideally, the Lilywhites will not, under any circumstances, want to start 2022 with a ton of games in hand.
Remember, Tottenham could be six points behind in the race for a Champions League qualifying spot tonight if West Ham United win.
And even though Conte’s team would have three games in hand, he would rather have the points rather than the spare games, wouldn’t he?
However, Thursday’s clash with Leicester City would once again represent a sense of normalcy for Tottenham Hotspur and, thankfully, Londoners appear to be heading in the right direction to get their season back on track.
Spurs are currently seventh in the Premier League standings, three points behind fourth-ranked West Ham.
