Some Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter believe that Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is in dire need of a break.
Spurs resume their Europa League campaign tonight with the first leg of their round of 16 tie against Austria’s Wolfsberger in Budapest.
Hojbjerg participated in José Mourinho’s training session at Hotspur Way on Wednesday and was presumably on the flight that left Hungary last night.
The Denmark international has looked like an outright cut to the £ 15m Tottenham spent on him last summer, but there have been signs in recent weeks that the former Southampton midfielder, who conceded a cheap penalty against Manchester City on last Saturday, it has slowed down.

The North Londoners have had 2,070 minutes of Premier League action this season and Hojbjerg has played each and every one of them.
And Lilywhites fans on Twitter claim the serious Dane is in dire need of a break.
Tottenham posted a Hojbjerg training montage from yesterday’s session on social media and here some fans responded:

It is better not to play. I don’t want to see it on the payroll. He needs to rest and be fresh for West Ham on Sunday.

He should leave Holberg at home for a complete break during Sunday’s game.
