[SPT #133] Android apps for Windows 10 – it works

The single day is behind us, and with it were associated offers with promotions. November is the month when marketing slogans reign supreme, which I wrote about a week ago. What happened this week? You will read in SPT – subjective summary of the week.

Praise

Apple TV is everywhere. The service of the Cupertino company is available on an increasing number of devices. It has just been released in the form of an application for Playstation 5 and 4. It bodes well for the VOD service, and competitors may start to be afraid. On Apple TV we can find really great quality series, such as “The Morning Show” with Jennifer Aniston. The extension of the service availability channels will certainly be a plus for Apple TV.

The Pope prays for artificial intelligence. It may be strange and unheard of, but not with Pope Francis. I am not a fan of church hierarchs and their sermons, however, what Francis says from the beginning of his leadership in the Vatican is truly amazing (in a positive sense). He is perhaps the first Pope of our time who understands the progress of the world and its needs. This is shown, for example, by the last prayer for artificial intelligence, and actually for scientists who should take the right direction of research in creating this type of technology. I appreciate Pope Francis for his extraordinary approach to certain issues that trouble the world.

MacBooks with an M1 processor. You have to admit it happened Apple succeeded. Apple’s first proprietary processor, the M1, is simply amazing. The layout is optimized for devices that prioritize small size and energy efficiency. The M1 is an octa-core processor with four high-performance cores, and Apple calls them “the fastest processor cores in the world.” It is not surprising because the new processor is to be much faster than the competitors. The chipset will go to the MacBook Air and Mac mini. The latter can be purchased from PLN 3699.

Android apps for Windows 10 are great. I never thought that Microsoft would refine the Your Phone app enough to make it work so well! Initially, it had some simple functions. Now, after turning it on, we have access to many phone options – text messages, photos, contacts or even Android applications! Unfortunately, the latter is reserved only for Samsung flagship users, but it works really well. One of the upcoming updates is to allow users to change the size of the window, making it look more natural. At this point, any program opens in the form of an oblong phone screen.

Microsoft Teams with new features. Microsoft updates Teams regularly. In patches, he corrects bugs and successively adds new options. This time, the possibility of serving as many as 1000 people at one meeting is on the horizon. In addition, there will be a feature to quote and reply to specific chat messages. Additionally, users will be able to add multiple accounts and switch to the selected profile without logging out. These novelties are expected to appear in Microsoft Teams later this year.
