Alica Schmidt: It’s a shame, of course, that I didn’t make it into the relay in the last few meters. But I also have to acknowledge that my colleagues were simply faster and were able to call up the better athletic performance at the decisive moment. I’m an athlete enough to say that I now have to “clean my mouth off” and keep going.
