The British MotoGP sprint race took place at the Silverstone Circuit, Saturday (5/8/2023) evening WIB. The session was held on a slippery track after a rain.
Jack Miller and Jorge Martin competed for pole position on the first lap. Alex Marquez pokes into P1 entering the second lap.

Marco Bezzecchi followed Alex Marquez in second place. Miller slipped to third and was closely tagged by Maverick Vinales behind him.
Alex Marquez was still free to lead at the front entering the fifth lap. Fierce competition actually occurred between Miller and Vinales who fought for third place.
Francesco Bagnaia is still stuck in 11th place. Meanwhile, Marc Marquez was scattered in 18th place.
Entering the seventh lap, Alex Marquez kept the distance to 1.205 seconds from Bezzecchi behind him. Vinales won third place, while Miller slipped back to seventh.
Alex Marquez managed to maintain the leading position until he crossed the finish line. Bezzecchi followed in second and Vinales in third. Johann Zarco finished fourth, followed by Aleix Espargaro behind him.
