Blessing of the G20
Daily DPP Gerindra party chairman Sufmi Dasco Ahmad responded to the moment Megawati and SBY sat down at the G20 summit table in Bali. Dasco said this was a blessing from the G20 event.
“Well, that’s a blessing from the G20. So thanks to the G20, we see that our nation’s leaders can sit at the same table at a historic moment for the Indonesian nation. And obviously this is one that shows great spirit,” Dasco said at the DPR Building, Senayan, Jakarta on Wednesday (11/16/2022).
Dasco believes leaders put their best interests first. He also enjoyed the meeting between Megawati and SBY.
“We should appreciate that then there are those who think that then sit around there is another interpretation, yes I will not comment, because this is the domain of every political party, I will not comment further. But I am very grateful that our leaders can sit at a table,” he said.
He also hopes that this moment will cool the mood for the 2024 legislative and presidential elections.
