Offenbach (dpa/lhe) – Cool temperatures and lots of clouds: Spring in Hesse is initially showing its unpleasant side. The sky is cloudy on Tuesday, according to the German Weather Service (DWD) in Offenbach. There will be a few rain showers across the country, which are expected to subside in the evening. Strong gusts of wind can also occur in the north. The temperatures reach a maximum of 9 to 12 degrees. In the mountains, the meteorologists expect some snow showers at 4 to 7 degrees. Frost can form locally on Wednesday night with lows between 2 and minus 1 degrees.
In the middle of the week things are looking a bit friendlier. According to the weather service, Wednesday will start out bright, but the clouds will increase as the day progresses. It stays dry with highs between 11 and 13 degrees.
