Weather forecast
Just like last week, Saturday seems to be a nice day for lovers of terraces or ice cream. The mercury in Flanders rises to above 20 degrees again.
The day starts on Friday, mainly heavily cloudy. There are already some clear skies in the west. During the day, the clear spells will spread to the rest of the country, the RMI reports. The mercury rises from 15 or 16 degrees in the Ardennes and from 19 to 21 degrees in Lower and Central Belgium.
During the night from Friday to Saturday it will remain partly cloudy with quite a lot of high clouds. The minimums drop to values between 7 and 12 degrees with a weak to moderate wind.
Saturday will be quite sunny with a lot of high clouds. It will be even milder with maximum temperatures of 19 degrees in the Ardennes to locally 23 degrees in Flanders.
However, those higher temperatures are short-lived. Cooler air will flow into our country from the North Sea on Sunday. This means there is more cloud cover, but it remains dry. We still reach maximums of 12 or 13 degrees at the sea and on the Ardennes relief up to 14 or 15 degrees in the center.
