To allow creators to live their activity while remaining on the platform, the free Snapchat photo and video sharing application has just announced in a blog post the launch of “Spotlight Challenges”, paid challenges to the intention of its best creators as well as new monetization tools.
Indeed, the Spotlight Challenges will offer Snapchatters the chance to win cash prizes for creating the best performing Spotlight Snaps using specific Lenses, Sounds or #Subjects. Whether it’s your best impersonation or your funniest grin, these Snapchatters challenge to create Snaps that showcase their unique voice, perspective, personality, and creativity. Snapchat promises cash payouts of between $ 1,000 and $ 25,000 to creators responding to specific challenges.
Spotlight Challenges is currently in the testing phase and is expected to launch initially on the Android and iOS Snapchat apps in November for Snapchatters aged 16 and over in the United States before expanding to other countries around the world. We can’t wait to see what you create!
