Spotify takes action against misinformation
The Swedish streaming company Spotify is taking measures to prevent the spread of misinformation about the coronavirus, reports the news agency AFP. It happens after criticism from a number of artists.
Including Neil Young, who pulled all his music from the platform because the company refused to remove a popular podcast, which spreads disinformation about vaccines.
Spotify director Daniel Ek says in a statement that in the next few days the company will launch a separate fact page that contains updated and verified information about covid-19.
