Users can now control when and how they want to be notified by the music streaming service.
Music streaming service Spotify has revised its notification settings. You can now specify in the Spotify app which notifications you want, such as concert information or music recommendations. You can also specify how you want to receive these notifications.
Here’s how it works:
- In the Spotify app, tap the gear icon at the top of the screen.
- Scroll down until you see the Notifications menu item under Storage.
- Here is a list of options, for example Recommendations for music and artists, audiobooks, live streams and virtual events, Spotify experiences created for you etc.
- You have two cursors available for each point: To push or E-mail. Activate or Deactivate the cursor as desired.
- If both are turned off, you will not receive any notifications.
For example, would you like to be informed about live concerts, but not by push notification, but only by email? Now you can define it in the app
