Spotify Reportedly Testing NFT Galleries in Musicians’ Profiles By Cointelegraph

Spotify would be testing NFT galleries in the profiles of musicians

The important music streaming platform Spotify (NYSE:) is testing the option of galleries of non-fungible tokens (NFT) in the profiles of musicians. Should the tests prove successful, the addition of NFT would serve to improve the experience for artists and fans.

Currently, there are only two of these artists, DJ/producer Steve Aoki and indie rock band The Wombats, both known for their embrace of NFT.

According to reports, Spotify does not support videos or GIF formats, and only displays a static image without any sound.
