Popular music streaming app Spotify is a growing presence in the podcast world, and it has just announced that it is bringing its podcast subscriptions to 33 new countries.
More people than ever can now pay podcast creators for their work directly, where creators can mark content as being for subscribers only. People in 33 new countries will now be able to pay to listen to that content, and these countries include; Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia , Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Yahoo! Finans also points out that Canada, Germany, Austria and France will also go online next week.
