If there’s one thing we know about social media users, it’s that they’re always ready to share the music they listen to. But with six months until their most viral music-sharing event, Spotify Wrapped, they’ve turned to a new site called Spotify Pie.
What is a Spotify Pie Chart?
Spotify Pie analyzes your Spotify listening and organizes it into a highly shareable pie chart of all the genres you’ve listened to in the last month. Not only will the site display the genres of music you listen to the most, but it will also list your top artists of the month under a colorful chart. Created by UCLA student Darren Huang, the site has the nifty tagline “Create Your Monthly Gender.”

Spotify Pie leverages the way Spotify categorizes each song as Very specific genre. My personal pie covers everything from ‘Metropolis’ to ‘Underground Hip Hop’ to ‘Boy Band’.

Twitter users shared their pie like no one cared about their darkest genres and didn’t judge other top artists.
