On the “daylist” of Spotify is now also available in Belgium, after the audio streaming platform made the service available to the world on Wednesday. It is an individual set composed by an algorithm based on the music traditionally listened to at certain times of the day. The tracks therefore change depending on when the user wants to rely on Spotify.
The Swedish company launched the service a year ago. First available in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and Ireland, the “daylist” was then opened to 65 other countries and it is now time for the global launch. The playlists are also now composed in languages other than English, notably in French.
Spotify is the world’s largest audio streaming service, with 626 million active users, including 246 million paid accounts. The platform is used in over 180 countries.
