Spotify is updated with new features on the home hub

Spotify didn’t share exactly when the new home screen design would arrive

Spotify is one of the most downloaded applications on mobile devices, for this reason it must be constantly evolving with new features and better design to offer a better experience. Now, the company has announced that there are improvements to its application focused on the home screen for iOS and Android.

The app includes a section that highlights personalized recommendations, recently played, and new podcasts. In this way, through this latest update, several advances will be implemented in the mobile home center designed to more easily find the music you like the most, providing an easier and more intuitive interface.

These are three important improvements that come to the home screen of the application Spotify for Android and iOS. The first is where the user can navigate their history of music listened to in the last three months. Free and premium users around the world will be able to browse recently played songs and individual episodes, as well as the playlists, albums and shows they were played from.

The second improvement is the addition of new and unfinished podcasts. New episodes will be marked with a blue dot, and episodes that have already started will show a progress bar indicating how far you have reached the episode.

Finally, the third new feature is about discovering more music where premium users will not miss a single track of their favorite artists. A new highlighted interface will now be displayed at the top of the home center dedicated to discovery-driven recommendations that are personalized, timely, and responsive to suit tastes.

Spotify did not share exactly when the new home screen design would reach users. But everything seems to indicate that these changes will arrive this week or next.
