One of the big problems that Spotify has always had with Apple, have been the limitations that the second imposed. The one from Cupertino it has always been a closed ecosystem, and small functionalities may simply be out of reach for anyone other than Apple itself. This is the case of compatibility with the Apple Watch, which was not quite complete.
Apple has always supported the development of apps for the Apple Watch. However, when it comes to music, it has taken a long time to offer equal conditions. At first, only Apple Music had functions such as streaming music from the app, or music download for offline playback. Fortunately, this has changed. In fact, it changed a few years ago.
Now, Spotify has jumped on the bandwagon, and they have finally started offering offline music functionality on the Apple Watch. Premium users can download playlists, albums or podcasts to your watch. All this, just by pressing the option in the contextual menu (the three dots) of each content. With that, it will simply be necessary to access the content from the Apple Watch.
