Spotify has automatic offline backup presented. Thanks to the function, you no longer have to worry about necessary offline data. Spotify uses the existing cache system to provide you with your favorite music in offline mode.

Offline music without manual downloads

Normally you have to download your favorite music separately so that it is also available in dead spots. Offline Backup, on the other hand, creates a personalized playlist of recently streamed or queued songs that are already cached on the user’s device.

These files are normally not visible to the user, but can now be accessed via the special “Offline Backup” relist. This way you can access your favorite music without using additional data.

The playlist appears automatically when the internet connection is interrupted. The list can of course be very colorful, as Spotify lists all the music from the clipboard here. However, thanks to various filter and sorting functions, you should get to your destination quickly if you have heard the song you want recently or if it is in the queue.

There is a catch: the function is only available to premium subscribers. By the way, you have to activate offline playback in the settings beforehand so that the playlist is available. The whole thing is available for iOS and Android or CarPlay and Android Auto.
