Price adjustments everywhere – now also on Spotify. In Austria, a price increase for Spotify Family was announced today via email to existing customers.
The impacts are getting closer, Spotify is now also increasing prices in German-speaking countries. For the time being, however, only for the largest subscription. For up to six accounts, 16.99 euros instead of 14.99 euros will be due in the future. It starts on August 1st, so today. Existing customers still have the old price for three months and must agree to the price increase via their account.
Spotify Family and the other packages
In addition to Family, Spotify also continues to offer an account for one user for EUR 9.99 per month. There is also Duo for 13.99 euros for two users. Family offers more accounts in terms of functionality, but also the ability to block “inappropriate music” for children. Students get away cheaper, namely for 4.99 euros per month.
