BANDUNG — Spotify teamed up with Netflix to launch the Stranger Things playlist. Not just any playlist, there’s a special personalized mode for season 4 volume 2 which premiered on July 1st.

With the name Stranger Things Official Playlist, various songs in this series are present. The series is set in the 80s when Max Mayfield’s character (Sadie Sink) manages to escape from Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower) when her friends play her favorite song, Running Up That Hill by Kate Bush.

Reporting from the Tech Crunch page, when a user selects a song from this playlist on an Android device or Spotify Desktop, fans will see a floodlight that runs according to the second of the song.

Apart from that, users will find Vecna itself within their screen. The experience gained from Spotify makes this now-viewed show stand out from other streaming services.

Interestingly, the personalization does not only apply to the playlist. When another song is added, the mode will still be carried. That is, every song can be a savior from Vecna, interesting isn’t it?
