Sportivo Belgrano undertakes various works to improve the playing fields of the “Juan Pablo Francia” stadium and the “Nicolás Losano” property.
At the start of each season, both summer and winter, playgrounds need different types of intervention to maintain and improve the characteristics that make them aesthetically sublime and mechanically resistant.
Before the end of the competitive phase, the club’s Maintenance Department, headed by engineers Pablo Terraf and Florencia Gallo, carried out a series of interventions in the “Juan Pablo Francia” stadium and in the “Horacio Hernández” and “Lucas Farías” fields of the Estate Nicolas Losano.
Engineer Terraf commented that “fertilisation work, vertical cutting, aeration with different types of spikes and sandblasting was carried out. The technical staff asked us that the soils of the fields have low to no compaction. All these works they were performed with the MGD company,” he said.
Meanwhile, the engineer Gallo explained that “a different job is done for each moment of the year. In September/October the weed grows back and these chemical, mechanical and cultural interventions make it replant with greater vigor”.
“The passion that drives us is to see the club of our loves grow hand in hand with young leaders and with the support of an entire city. The return of football gives us the anxiety to show what progress has been made,” concluded Terraf.
