The Sports area of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council, led by Alicia Cebrián, has carried out a series of improvements in the Pancho Camurria pavilion, with a total investment of 25,197.34 euros, within the sports facilities reform plan from the city.
Councilor Alicia Cebrián came yesterday to check the status of the improvements made, accompanied by representatives of the different clubs in the city who train daily in the Pancho Camurria pavilion. This action consisted of repairing, sanding and varnishing the installation’s parquet, as well as anti-woodworm treatment.
The councilor for Sports pointed out that “the figure skating and roller hockey clubs have highlighted how good the parquet has been and have appreciated the initiative by the sports service for these improvements that were so much needed and that they had been demanding for years.” and added that “these improvements were made during the month of August taking advantage of the fact that there was no activity in the pavilion due to the rest period of the clubs that train there.”
Cebrián indicated that “the Pancho Camurria is a great facility that we have in Santa Cruz, in which more improvements will be made, but, without a doubt, this was the most important and necessary because, after all, it is about space. competition and training, the parquet ”.
