Sports Story, the sequel to Golf Story, is postponed indefinitely

The game has become rather ambitious and we are excited about how it could turn out. But the price is currently being paid as we try to make our plans into reality. We are eager to reveal the results of these past 2 years so please look forward to future updates.

“The game has gotten pretty ambitious and we’re excited to see what it could become. But we are currently paying the price, as we try to materialize our plans ”, we can read in the publication, which specifies that the developer has been working for two years on Sports Story.

In addition, to put a little balm on the disappointment of the fans, Sidebar Games has prepared a short video inspired by the world of the game, which explains in a humorous way the reasons behind the delay.

Exclusive to Nintendo Switch, Sports Story must push further (and with even more sports) the original concept of Golf Story, which mixed golf and retro RPG.
