Sports Director (m/f/d).

You are part of a three-person leadership team. You are responsible for the management and control of the sports field and a Strategic development. We are looking for a responsible maker to get involved!

Main activities:

• Responsible for the licensed player team, men’s 2nd team, women’s team as well as youth and youth work (young talent center)
• The concept and further development of the strategic direction of the sports field
• Responsible for squad planning, scouting and composition of the coaching, functional and medical team, the physios and match analysis
• Management and control of the areas and related staff
• Regular coordination with management colleagues and the board of directors to implement the strategy and defined goals
• Preparation of annual sports planning including compliance with corresponding budget requirements
• Participate in the control and coordination of the various club projects in collaboration with interest groups from members, fans, business and public administration as well as the media with the aim of sustainable club development and protection in the era of coming
• Negotiating and drafting contracts with players and staff
• Representation of the club’s legal interests, particularly within the Football Association and at local level
• Contact for associations, clubs and organizations, for sponsors and contractual partners, for the state capital Dresden, the media as well as trainers, members, fans and club organs

Your profile:

• You have an excellent network in the world of football as well as a very good knowledge of national and international football events.
• You have experience of a leadership role in a football club or association environment.
• You have proven success and experience in the relocation industry.
• You know how to use sports search tools.
• You have the ability to lead people with a healthy mix of leadership and collaboration, to motivate them to achieve and keep them connected to the club for the long term.
• You impress with your confident demeanor, excellent communication skills, the ability to work in a team and enthusiasm combined with a practical mind.
• Your approach is based on strong analytical, systematic, strategic and results-oriented skills.
• Your strengths include negotiation skills, a confident and enthusiastic demeanor, encouraging social behavior and a willingness to use flexible working hours.
• They are very smart and can represent the interests of the club to associations, authorities and other sports clubs.
• Ideally, you know our club, that you are already connected to it or come from Dynamoland yourself.
