Sports bags full of cash, luxury cars and even the IRA: the criminal file surrounding the Ostend twin brothers Peter and Rudolf Marchand reads like the script of a gangster film. The 71-year-old businessmen are said to have laundered no less than 120 million euros for Irish criminals in twelve years. But at their trial in Bruges they go for the acquittal. “My client was put under pressure. His family was threatened with death,” he said.
