Right wing underwent surgical intervention this Saturday

Sporting reported that Fresneda underwent surgery this Saturday to “correct instability in his left shoulder”. To what Record managed to determine, the right winger must be out for a period of no less than three months.
The 19-year-old Spaniard’s complaints in that area date back several weeks, so much so that, as our newspaper reported on October 30th, it was for this reason that he was not included in the squad for the meeting with Boavista, at Bessa. From then on, he was a substitute in matches against Farense and Estrela da Amadora. He only played minutes again (35′) against Raków, in the Europa League. In the derby in Luz, last Sunday, he was once again left out of Rúben Amorim’s choices, a sign that he continued to experience discomfort in his shoulder, which Sporting hopes to correct once and for all with surgical intervention.
Therefore, Fresneda joins Geny Catamo on the list of casualties – this Saturday, the Mozambican continued to undergo treatment for an injury to his right adductor.
Youth dominates again
Injuries aside, Rúben Amorim returned to lead another training session at the Cristiano Ronaldo Academy, in Alcochete, with a view to hosting Dumiense, on the 26th, in the 4th round of the Portuguese Cup.
