Still having doubts about Sporting’s right wing, Rúben Amorim decided to call Leonardo Barroso, former Benfica defender, to the Algarve, to join the lions’ training camp.
The versatile young full-back will join the rest of the squad, and will still participate in training today, Monday, July 24th.
The information is provided by Record, assuring that Amorim was undecided between Leonardo Barroso and Diogo Travassos, but, since the latter underwent surgery in March, on his right knee, he opted for the former Benfica player.
Last season, Leonardo Barroso played 14 games, divided between the under-23 and green and white juniors, after missing half a year of competition, thanks to an injury.
