João Muniz, an 18-year-old defender, split last season between the B, under-23 and under-19 teams. Afonso Moreira, an 18-year-old winger, played for the B team and for the under-19s, in addition to being an unused substitute for Sporting-Santa Clara, on the 26th matchday of the League.
Mateus Fernandes, who was released from the under-19 Euro at the request of Sporting, is also present on the first day of pre-season. St. Juste presented with clear physical limitations on his left knee.
