Sporting’s coach also praised the Swede’s desire to reinforce Sporting
After three games without scoring, Viktor Gyökeres returned to score for Sporting, in a match with Moreirense in which he once again demonstrated an incredible physical capacity to compete with his opponents. Attributes that Rúben Amorim praised after that meeting, in a quick interview in which he also praised the player’s desire to reinforce Sporting. “Above all, realizing that not everyone was sleeping. He really wanted to come to Sporting, the [Hugo] Viana showed me the proposals. The club proposals he had weren’t exactly where he wanted to go… God gave him that physique and it helps us a lot to stretch the game”, he explained.
