Sport ‘sinks’ Ponte Preta and returns to G4 in Series B < In Attack

Sports beat Ponte Preta this Saturday (16/11) 4-0, at Moisés Lucarelli, in Campinas, in the last round and the 37th round of Series B of the Brazilian Championship. Right back Luiz Felipe was sent off in the first half, when the game was 1-0, which complicated the game for the home team.

As a result, Spórs moved up to fourth place, with 63 points, and is rooting against Ceara to stay in the access zone for Series A. The team from Ceara will play this Monday, against América.

Ponte Preta was struggling at the bottom of the table, in 17th place, with 37 points, and could be eliminated from this round if there was a draw or a win for Chapecoense and a win for CRB.

The teams return to the field on the 24th, Sunday, at 6:30 pm (Brazilian time), for the final round of Series B. Sport will host Santos, while Vila Nova will visit Avaí.

The game
