The Kazakhstan national football team won a strong-willed victory over the Danish team as part of the qualification for the European Championship 2024, Vesti.kz correspondent reports.
The meeting of group H took place at the Astana Arena and ended with a score of 3:2. At the same time, during the game, the guests led with an advantage of two goals.
The Danes made a bid for victory already in the first half, scoring two unanswered goals. First, in the 21st minute of the game, 20-year-old Rasmus Hoylund opened the score, and 15 minutes later he scored a double and doubled the advantage of the guests.
In the second half, Kazakhstan managed to turn the tide of the game. In the 72nd minute, Bakhtiyor Zainutdinov converted a penalty and reduced the gap to a minimum. And five minutes before the end of regular time, Askhat Tagybergen evened the score with a long-range shot.
The victory was brought to Kazakhstan by Abat Aimbetov, who distinguished himself in the 89th minute.
Thus, the Kazakhstan national team won the first victory in qualification, while Denmark suffered the first defeat.
Recall that at the start of the campaign, Kazakhstan lost at home to Slovenia (1:2), and Denmark beat Finland (3:1).
