Juventus, authoritative and victorious in the shock against Lazio 3-0, confirmed their clear recovery by reaching the podium, from which their opponent was expelled at the end of the 15th matchday of Serie A, Sunday in Turin.
Juve’s success is not affected by any dispute, given that it has dominated the debates, leaving no respite for Lazio.
The Italian capital club was weighed down by goalkeeper Ivan Provedel, guilty of two of Juve’s three goals. First he completely missed the exit on the first to be pierced by Moise Kean, launched by Adrien Rabiot in the back of the Lazio defense (1-0, 43′).
Then his responsibility is still busy on the second as he landed the powerful shot of Filip Kostic on Kean’s feet who was not asked to offer himself a nice brace (54th).
The former PSG striker, who has been in great form since replacing the injured Dusan Vlahovic, scored his second and third goals of the week after Thursday’s narrow success in Verona (1-0).
However, Provedel redeems himself by stopping a great low shot from Milik (54th) but fails to prevent the sixth consecutive success for Massimiliano Allegri’s men.
Previously Juve nugget Nicol? Fagioli (21st), with a ferocious shot entering the area, had already put Provedel to work, forced to stop in two stages (11th).
Pedro’s prepared shot towards the porthole would have deserved a decidedly better shot, but the Juve goalkeeper kicked for a corner (41′).
Milik completed this undeniable success by detecting a cross from Chiesa (89′) without opposition.
Bad operation for the club from the capital, which remaining on two consecutive successes suffers a setback and abandons 2nd place to Milan, winner of Fiorentina at the start of the evening, and finds itself relegated to the foot of the podium.
