Sport Club Internacional concluded negotiations to announce the signing of right-back Hugo Mallo. He signs a contract until August 2024.
Born in Spain, the defender played his entire career at Celta de Vigo. Between national and international competitions of the elite of European football, he played for more than 400 games, always in the starting line-up. There were 14 seasons for the Galician club, debuting at the age of 18 and currently captaining the team. Over the years, Hugo became the athlete with the most appearances in the Spanish Championship in the club’s history.
