The Montbéliard Science Bar is an initiative that allows people to talk about science by encouraging encounters between researchers, citizens, industrialists and activists. A science bar is not a conference but an uninhibited dialogue, a free and respectful debate, a time during which everyone can express their certainties, their questions, their fears, their hopes, their anger… Any thought is legitimate, any point of view is interesting in mutual respect.
The next Science Bar will take place on Tuesday March 15, 2022 at 8:00 p.m. at the Hôtel Bristol in Montbéliard, on the theme “sport at any age and disability? with Gaelle Deley (Inserm Dijon, Age and Handycap Stimulation Lab).
Physical exercise is now recognized as one of the most effective strategies for a long healthy life, and the effects of regular practice are now proven. However, the sport is sometimes difficult because of a pathology or a handicap. Muscle electrostimulation is THE solution for such patients.
