Inmost is for PC (Steam, GOG, Humble) and switch in eShop been published. The puzzle platformer from Lithuanian developer Hidden Layer Games and publisher Chucklefish is being offered for 12.99 euros. The game premiered on October 11, 2019 on Apple Arcade.
The puzzle platformer tells the story of an adventurous girl, a stoic knight and a wanderer in search of answers. Each character should have their own style of play. You explore a dilapidated or nightmarish world, defeat opponents, solve puzzles in the area and overcome traps. The three to five hour long story is designed to cover the themes of loss and hope. The game should “best be played alone on a dark and stormy night”, write the developers, who also promise that “every pixel is lovingly set”. By the way, To The Moon by Kan Gao is named as a source of inspiration.
Compared to the Apple Arcade version, the developers promise more story elements, cutscenes, dialogues, puzzles, environments, music, weather effects and better localization.
