JAKARTA, KOMPASTV – Curses for some people are considered to be true. Usually associated with catastrophic situations and unnatural deaths.

Some of the myths of the curse in the world have been immortalized in history and narrated from generation to generation as it is gathered in History. Here are the most phenomenal stories to their origins.

1. Curse on the tomb of the King of Poland

On a research mission a group of archaeologists dismantled the tomb of 15th-century Polish king Casimir IV Jagiellon in Krakow, Poland in 1973.

In a joking tone, they said they did not believe in the curse of opening the coffin. However, not long after the expedition, these archaeologists began to die one by one.

European media speculated that the cause of the death of the team of archaeologists was due to a curse. However, it was recently discovered that it was the poisonous mushrooms that caused them to suffer lung pain because they had inhaled them during the expedition.
