“Sponsorship in regional sports: A look at advertising spaces in sports arenas”

From the international sports clubs one is used to the fact that large corporations shine with jerseys and trousers. But regional sport has also long lived from sponsorship, mostly family businesses anchored in the district that adorn the boards of the sports fields or – the ultimate in conspicuousness – are even part of the club name. We picked out a few examples from the region and took a look at the advertising spaces in the sports arenas in the region.
