Following this week’s edition of AEW Dynamite, a new episode of AEW Rampage was taped at the Agganis Arena in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. This will be broadcast for the first time in the US on the TNT channel from tomorrow Friday to Saturday at 4:00 a.m. German time. The first broadcast in Germany takes place on Monday evening on the YouTube channel Warner TV Wrestling DE, as well as on the night from Monday to Tuesday, from 00:20 a.m. on Warner TV Serie.

1. Match
Singles Match
Bryan Danielson defeated Trent Beretta via submission in a modified crossface chickenwing.
– “You’re gonna head you’re f***ing head kicked in” chants were heard early in the match.
– Before the finish, Beretta had to take the Busaiku Knee, a gotch-style piledriver and the typical kicks to the head.
– The match is described as very entertaining.

Lexy Nair invited Hook backstage for an interview, but as usual, the son of the human suplex machine Taz doesn’t say a word, just calmly eats his chips. After a while, he finally leaves backstage and throws the bag of chips aside. Danhausen suddenly appears from the garbage can and tries to curse Hook again, but Hook is again completely unimpressed and leaves Danhausen behind, who then grabs the remaining chips and begins to eat them.

Next we see a promo from TNT Champion Scorpio Sky justifying his decision to shut down the Open Door Challenge. Sammy Guevara and Tay Conti make their way into the arena, which also includes some boos and “Shut the f*** up” chants. There’s a back-and-forth between them and Dan Lambert, with some below-the-belt rants again. Ethan Page says he hopes his daughter won’t be like Tay Conti, which leaves Guevara cold. As the boos grow louder for the “power couple,” they say they’ll come to the ring over and over again until they get the match.

2. Match
Singles Match
Swerve Strickland defeated QT Marshall (w/ Aaron Solo & Nick Comoroto) via a flatliner pinfall followed by a kick to Marshall’s head.
– Solo and Comoroto intervened several times but are eventually expelled from the hall.

After the match, Ricky Starks leaves the announce booth and challenges Strickland and Keith Lee to a tag team match against him and powerhouse Hobbs, scheduled for next week at Dynamite.

3. Match
Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Qualifier: Singles Match
Red Velvet defeated Willow Nightingale via pinfall after a spinning kick.
– The fans were clearly on Willow’s side, among other things loud “Let’s go Willow” chants could be heard.
– Accordingly, Red Velvet’s victory was not received positively by the audience.

4. Match
Singles Match
Jon Moxley defeated Wheeler Yuta via submission in the bulldog choke.
– It is said to have been a fantastic match.
– Before the match, there was an intense promotion between Moxley and Yuta.
– Yuta amazingly managed to kick out Moxley’s Death Rider before finally being made to submit.

After the match, Wheeler Yuta apparently joins the Blackpool Fight Club around Bryan Danielson, William Regal and Jon Moxley, because after loud chants, Yuta and Regal finally shake hands, which are frenetically cheered. For the next edition of AEW Dynamite, the tag team match between Ricky Starks and Powerhouse Hobbs vs. Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland will be made official. That concludes this issue of Rampage.
