“Things are happening in Thionville and that’s why we wanted to communicate our cultural proposals together,” sums up Jackie Helfgott, cultural assistant. For the first time, on Tuesday 13 September, the eight cultural venues of the city came together to unveil their programming. La Scala, the Adagio, the theater, but also the Nido, the Torre delle Flea, the Conservatory, without forgetting Puzzle and the Center Jacques-Brel. Each of the managers had a mission to present their favorite.

For all tastes
Anne Guillou of Puzzle highlighted digital studies that offer “initiation, skills development”. In 2021, the Thionville digital cultural center registered 90,000 visitors. The Jacques-Brel center wanted to highlight its next exhibition, entitled Quotes. It will be visible from 29 September to 26 November and will bring together twenty works by six artists. As for La Scala, which offers a weekly program with twenty films a month, it dreams of reaching teenagers. “Every Tuesday, from October to April, from 12:00 to 14:00, we want to welcome them so that they can have lunch in the heat and enjoy a free short film,” explains Justine Girardi. At the Tour aux Puces, emblematic museum of the Grand Est, there is the Deciphered Archeology exhibition, to be discovered from 11 February to 30 April, inaugurated by Bruno Touveron. As for the conservatory, it looks forward to March 25 to set the stage for the 6th Brass Festival. “This event will bring together one hundred children from the various conservatories of the Department, but also young music awakeners and we will have the opportunity to have a renowned education”, says Pierre Trimbur.
