The soccer superstar will be collaborating with the popular battle royale game and will host a range of in-game and out-of-game activities throughout 2022

KRAFTON, Inc. today announced it has officially partnered with global soccer superstar Neymar Jr. Neymar Jr. will serve as the newest official ambassador for PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, the popular battle royale game that has sold more than 75 million copies since its release in 2017.

As part of this partnership, Neymar Jr. will be the host for a range of in-game and out-of-game activities throughout the year, celebrating his passion for PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, which he has been playing regularly since the game launched five years ago.

On July 14, the partnership will kick off with a special Neymar Jr. live stream. More details on the activities will be announced at a later date. Teams from around the world will compete against Neymar Jr. and his team, which also includes popular South American content creators Gaulês, Netenho and Sparkingg. All players have a chance to win thousands of G-Coins. Starting at 18:00 CEST, Neymar Jr. and friends will be exploring the newly released map Deston from PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS on Neymar Jr.’s official Facebook channel and trying to secure a chicken dinner.

“Becoming a part of PUBG is fantastic,” said Neymar Jr. “I’m very proud to be a part of this new project and can’t wait to play on the new map.”
