Spitfire Audio Releases New Orchestral Percussion Library Abbey Road Orchestra: High Percussion

Spitfire Audio has released High Percussion, a new percussion library from the Abbey Road Orchestra series. As the second product in the series, with up to 11 dynamic layers, 16 looping mechanisms and 391 articulations, even including rigorous left and right hand performance, it is specially designed for professional composers, producers and sound designers developing.

The Abbey Road Orchestra: High Percussion library is a collection of 62 percussion instruments carefully selected by internationally renowned percussionist Joby Burgess and professionally recorded in the legendary acoustic space of Abbey Road Studio One. Covers the essentials from traditional orchestral main drum instruments to modern hybrid soundtracks. For ultimate playability, each patch offers a two-handed keyboard layout with independent mapping and dampening for left and right hand strikes, which facilitates the most natural articulation. With a range of different textures, types of percussion tools, and 16 microphone signals to choose from, it offers a lot of performance variation.
