A special performance on Saturday April 20 at 8 p.m. in De Meerpaal theater in Dronten. Spinvis and Saartje Van Camp present their theater program ‘Neveldieren’.
In this performance, Spinvis and Saartje Van Camp bring the mythological cloud animals to life in today’s world. Somewhere between delusion and reality, these creatures whisper and sing to the audience. They are centuries old. Sometimes human, sometimes animal, sometimes man, sometimes woman, sometimes neither or both. What drives them? Why are they still here? ‘Neveldieren’ is a performance with many well-known and new Spinvis songs.
Various prices
Spinvis has received various prizes over the years, including the Pop Prize, the Silver Harp, the Annie MG Schmidt Prize, the Johnny van Doorn Prize and the Gouden Notekraker. His new album ‘Be-Bop-A-Lula’ will be released by Excelsior Recordings in April 2023.
In the performance, Spinvis provides vocals, guitar, keys, koto, samples and drums, while Saartje Van Camp provides vocals, cello, keys, erhu and samples.
