Spies leads AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am 2R on PGA Tour… Sung-Hoon Kang 37th

Jordan Spice (US) took the lead in the second round of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am ($7.8 million in prize money) on the US Professional Golf (PGA) Tour.

Spies hit 5 under par 67 with 6 birdies and 1 bogie in the second round of the second round of the tournament held at Spyglass Hill GC (par 72, 6,858 yards) in Pebble Beach Golf Links, California, USA on the 13th (Korean time).

Spice, who recorded a total of 12 under par 132 strokes on two days, turned the turnaround point of the tournament to the sole first place, ahead of Daniel Burger (USA), the sole second place by one stroke.

The 11-win Tour Spice has not won the British Open in July 2017 for 3 years and 7 months.

The world ranking has also gone down from 1st to 69th. By the way, it re-entered the 70th place with a joint fourth place last week from 92nd in early this month.

Spice, who won the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am in 2017, continued the rise of 7-under par on the first day by putting about a 12m birdie putt in the 5th hole (par 3).

After Burger, Henrik Nolander (Sweden) is the sole third place with a 10-under par 134 shots, two shots behind.

Patrick Cantley (USA), who was the first in the first round alone, lost one stroke and scored a 9-under-par 135, making it a tie for fourth place alongside Paul Casey and Tom Lewis (above England).

Among Korean players, Kang Seong-hoon (34) made it to the third round with 141 strokes and a tie for 37th place.

Kang Seong-hoon, who played the second round at Pebble Beach Golf Links (par 72, 6943 yards), recorded 4 under par 68 strokes with 6 birdies and 2 bogies.

Rounds 1 and 2 will be split at Pebble Beach Golf Links and Spyglass Hill GC, and Round 3 will be held at Pebble Beach Golf Links.

Kim Si-woo (26) recorded an even par with the last 9 holes (par 4), and was 1 stroke less than the 1 under par, the cut pass.

Even in the first round, the last hole, the 18th hole (par 5), about 2m birdie putt missed, and the last hole for two days in a row was unfortunate and eventually caught an ankle.

Bae Sang-moon (35) 2nd over par, Choi Gyeongju (51) and Noh Seungyeol (30) 3rd over par.
