Striking: almost all actors who have played the role of ‘Spider-Man’ have started a romance with their co-star during the filming. Even now – with Tom Holland and Zendaya – that is the case, against the advice of producer Amy Pascal.

Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst, Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone and now also Tom Holland and Zendaya. The set of the ‘Spider-Man’ films clearly not only fires cobwebs, but also love arrows. The last three actors who crawled into the latex suit of Peter Parker/Spider-Man, also started a relationship with their co-star in real life.
But not all relationships last. Maguire and Dunst started dating during the first movie and broke up shortly before the second movie and Garfield and Stone broke up after about four years. So producer Amy Pascal gave the following advice to Tom Holland and Zendaya, the two protagonists of the latest ‘Spider-Man’ movie series: “Don’t start it, just don’t do it. Try to avoid it anyway,” she said. “I used to give the same advice to Andrew and Emma, but yeah…”
It’s not clear how hard they “tried” not to start a relationship, but the fact is that Tom Holland and Zendaya also ignored Pascal’s advice. It is not known how long they have been together, but a while ago the two officially came out as a couple. And Holland is serious, the 25-year-old Briton even recently announced that he is considering his career on hold to convert to start a family.
