After the arrival of Spider-Man: No Way Home three big new movies came out in the States last weekend with the sci-fi action movie The Matrix Resurrections, de Kingsman-prequelfilm The King’s Man and the animation film Sing 2. The latter debuted by far the strongest.
As expected knew No Way Home set another monster score. The global score is now above $1 billion. The question is, of course, where that score will end with a complete Christmas holiday ahead.
Resurrections had a pretty weak weekend, with only $12 million. The King’s Man fared even weaker at $6.4 million. Both can be called flops, especially in the States. It is striking that there are seven new films in the Top 10 compared to a week earlier.
